Voice of Wisdom

“Hear me my son,” his mother said,

And she stroked softly his tiny head.

“The world around you is not always kind,

But in them, love and empathy you should find.”

 

"When you look at a girl, see her grace,

Her spirit, her dreams, not her face.

Respect her voice, her choice, her conviction,

And never let your pride rule your diction.”

 

“Be a hand to help her, not control,

A heart, that feels the agony of her soul.

She is not fragile, nor meant to rot,

She is a shoulder to lean on and support.”

 

“And not just women - listen my son,

All people in the world are equal and one.

No one is lesser, no one is above,

You should live in harmony, with care and love.”

 

“So, promise me my son, wherever you go,

Your heart will lead, your kindness will flow.

For a good man stands for what is right,

He leads the path from darkness to light.”

 

"The boy looked up to his mother with reverence,

Her words awakened in him deep perseverance.

He bowed his head to the woman so strong,

With a promise, to always shun what is wrong."
