Regret


Are you happy up above in Heaven?

Or grieving, leaving behind your loved ones?

Did you bag any new confidants even?

I bet, they may be many a ten!


Do you believe when I say I miss you?

I haven’t given you any reasons to prove so.

The squabbles we had, weren’t any few,

They had no logic, for you to know.


I crave for your hugs you could bestow,

Would you cradle me, soothe me, in your arms?

I would pour my heart, in a platter, in a row,

And drown myself in the warmth of your charms.


Your kindness, your love, forever will shine,

Guiding my heart like a star divine.

I wish I had told you this a thousand times—

Mom! You are my idol, and I love you to nines!

All you see is the box, big and hollow, With nothing in it, but darkness and sorrow.   No thoughts click, no action unfold Solutions meet with problems untold. Wonder what purpose keeps you aboard And remain connected to this holy abode.   Sanity becomes a prodigious miss, As you tumble into deep abyss. No words of wisdom and no hope, Would soothe your miserable self to cope.   An empty look is what you adorn, Reflecting into the past that makes you worn. All you need is resolutions to define, That this languidity too will pass with time.   Darkness is never here to remain, You'll find your strength to rise again.
